All ceremonies take place inside Neville Arena and feature the commencement speaker, the conferral of degrees, recognition of students with academic honors, and the student procession.

Ceremonies are anticipated to last between 90 minutes and two hours.

The Graduate School ceremony (including all doctoral and master's students) will be held on Friday, May 9.

All undergraduate ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11.

Professional School ceremonies for the Harrison College of Pharmacy and the College of Veterinary Medicine will be held on Monday, May 12 (graduates will receive emails from their college with additional information specific to these ceremonies).

The schedule below outlines the ceremony dates and times for each college.

To uphold safety measures, tickets are required for all commencement ceremonies. Tickets are free and only issued by the Commencement Office. Only graduates can reserve tickets.

Spring 2025 graduates intending to participate in their spring commencement ceremony must reserve a ticket for themselves.

All Spring 2025 graduates can reserve up to six guest tickets and may request an additional two tickets. Additional guest tickets are not guaranteed and are based on availability.

A standby line will be available for those guests without tickets. Entry via the standby line is subject to arena capacity.

Ticket reservations open on Monday, February 24, at 8 a.m. and close on Thursday, March 27 at midnight.

Auburn University's commencement tickets have no cash value. The selling or bartering of commencement tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered a Student Conduct offense. Students found engaging in such activities may have their tickets voided.

Graduates will be provided with more details on ticket registration throughout the semester. Ticketing FAQs can be found on the commencement website.

Regalia (cap and gown) is required for all commencement ceremonies and can be purchased through the Auburn University Bookstore.

To order regalia for early pickup, orders must be placed by Monday, March 3. Early pickup will be held March 24 through March 28 in the Auburn University Bookstore.

The final deadline to order regalia is Monday, April 7, for pickup May 5 through May 12.

If an order is not placed by April 7, graduates can purchase regalia with an additional $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability.

Honor cords are distributed with regalia. For questions regarding honor cord eligibility contact the Registrar’s Office.
