Would you like to work with youth and adults with disabilities? Our program can prepare you to be a rehabilitation counselor. Our graduates work in state and federal vocational rehabilitation programs. You could also work in non-profit community rehabilitation programs.
The Master of Science in CSSE provides both online and on-campus students an opportunity for advanced learning and creative research. Students will further their education through a balanced program in both instruction and research with the goal of achieving excellence in the field of computer science and software engineering. On-campus students may choose the thesis or non-thesis option. Online students can choose a non-thesis (courses only) or, with special permission from the department, the thesis option. They will be able to specialize in areas such as artificial intelligence, computer networks, cybersecurity, databases and data science, human/computer interaction and machine learning. Graduate training in this department enables outstanding students to achieve a high level of scholarly attainment in the soil, crop and environmental sciences. Auburn University’s cybersecurity engineering graduate program (i.e., MS-CYBE) prepares students for analyzing, developing, investigating, protecting, and defending the cyber ecosystem of organizations. As such, it focuses on the engineering and technical aspects of cybersecurity. Can be started once the student has completed the Executive Certificate in Construction Management with a 3.0 GPA or higher. This program helps to develop a student’s ability to handle comprehensive project budgets, project development and project financing within the construction industry.
Taken after completing the Executive Certificate in Construction Management curriculum with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Gives students a broad understanding of building information modeling (BIM), mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems in buildings. The Graduate Certificate in Crop and Soil Science offered by the Department of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences is for students who hold a bachelor’s degree but do not necessarily want to complete a full master’s degree.
The Cybersecurity Engineering Graduate Certificate prepares students to analyze, develop, investigate, protect, and defend computer and information systems. It is offered through the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, is available online and on campus to both degree and non-degree-seeking students.

The Data Engineering Graduate Certificate, offered through the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, is available online and on campus to both degree and non-degree-seeking students. The certificate prepares students to analyze data statistical learning, create machine learning solutions, interpret patterns, develop and design applications, and communicate big data concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
The graduate certificate program in either Data Science or Data Engineering entails a total of 12 graduate credit hours. The Data Science certificate requires three STAT courses and one elective from the three COMP courses.
